This educational curriculum is built around the the emotional engagement of documentary film. We use the powerful story of Mara Clawson - a brilliant artist living with a life-threatening disability - to teach both students and educators across the country about issues of disability, inclusion and arts education.
The center-piece of our project is a customized curriculum that guides highschool students and teachers through a lesson about disability and inclusion, and helps them understand the important contributions every member of society makes.
By implementing this project throughout the country at conferences, high schools, and strategic events, we can reach an audience of over 100k people. We will also cultivate a national network of Impact Partners who who can make use of the project within their existing programs.
